Refund and Returns Policy

Effective Date: 24th March 2026

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made directly from Ball Business / TheBallBusiness through our website and any official checkout pages linked from it. It explains when you may cancel an order, request a refund, or seek another remedy.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

1. Who We Are

Ball Business, trading as TheBallBusiness, is a football business, education, agency, legal, and branding platform.

2. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to purchases made directly from us, including where available:

  • online courses, classes, and educational programmes
  • digital products, templates, downloads, recordings, guides, and toolkits
  • memberships, subscriptions, and gated content access
  • consultations, advisory sessions, and other booked services
  • event registrations sold directly by us
  • physical products sold directly through our website

If you purchased through a third-party platform, marketplace, app store, YouTube, Amazon, event platform, or payment partner, that platform’s refund and cancellation rules may also apply.

3. Your Right to Change Your Mind

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you may have a legal right to cancel certain purchases within 14 days of the day after your order is placed, without giving any reason.

Whether you receive a full refund, a partial refund, or no refund will depend on what you bought and whether delivery or access has already started.

4. Online Courses, Digital Content, and Member Resources

4.1 Before access starts

If you buy an online course, digital resource, or other digital content from us and you have not yet accessed, downloaded, streamed, opened, or used any of the content, you may cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund.

4.2 Where you ask for immediate access

Some of our products are supplied immediately after payment, for example course dashboards, recordings, downloads, templates, private member resources, or gated educational materials.

Where, at checkout, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that your cancellation right is lost once supply begins, you will not be entitled to a refund once access begins.

For the purpose of this policy, “access” includes, without limitation:

  • logging into a protected course or member area
  • viewing or streaming course materials
  • downloading files, templates, or resources
  • joining a paid private group or gated member channel
  • opening or using digital materials delivered as part of the purchase
4.3 Live courses or programmes with a service element

Where your purchase includes a live teaching, coaching, mentoring, advisory, or support element and you ask us to begin performance within the 14-day cancellation period, you may still cancel during that period, but we may deduct a proportionate amount for the services already provided up to the time of cancellation.

That deduction may reflect matters such as:

  • live sessions already attended
  • onboarding or setup already completed
  • advisory or support time already provided
  • access already given to programme resources forming part of the service
4.4 After the 14-day period

After the 14-day cancellation period ends, payments for digital content, courses, memberships, and related educational products are generally non-refundable, except where you are entitled to a remedy under applicable law or where we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

5. Memberships and Subscriptions

Where we offer recurring memberships or subscriptions:

  • you may cancel future renewals at any time through your account settings, payment portal, or by contacting us
  • unless stated otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal payment and does not usually generate a refund for the current billing period
  • if your membership gives immediate access to digital content and you agreed to immediate supply at checkout, no refund will be due for content already supplied
  • where a membership includes a live service element started during the 14-day period at your request, any refund may be reduced to reflect the value already supplied

6. Consultations, Advisory Services, and Booked Sessions

For paid consultations, legal or business advisory calls, strategy sessions, or similar services booked directly with us:

  • if you cancel before the service begins and within any applicable legal cancellation period, you may be entitled to a refund
  • if you ask us to perform the service within the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel after work has started, we may deduct a proportionate amount for work already carried out
  • if you miss a booked session without notice, or arrive materially late, we may treat the session as used, unless we decide otherwise in our discretion or applicable law requires otherwise

Where separate booking terms are shown at checkout or in your booking confirmation, those terms will also apply.

7. Events, Webinars, and Registrations

For paid events, webinars, classes, workshops, or similar registrations sold directly by us:

  • if the event has not started and you are within the applicable cancellation period, you may request cancellation
  • if the event or webinar is supplied immediately, or digital access is granted immediately, and you agreed to that at checkout, your refund rights may be reduced or lost once supply begins
  • where an event has already taken place, or you have already attended, refunds will not usually be available unless required by law or where we cancel the event

If a specific event has its own refund terms, those terms will take priority for that event.

8. Physical Products

If we sell physical products directly through our website, the following applies unless separate product terms say otherwise:

  • you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the item
  • you must return the item within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel
  • items must be returned in reasonable condition
  • we may reduce the refund if the item has been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it
  • unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or not as described, return postage is your responsibility
  • where applicable, we will refund the basic delivery cost you paid, but not any premium delivery upgrade you selected

This section does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described.

9. If the Product or Service Is Not as Described or Not of Satisfactory Standard

If you believe a BallBusiness product or service:

  • was misdescribed
  • did not match information you relied on when purchasing
  • was not delivered with reasonable care and skill
  • was materially defective, unusable, or substantially below the standard reasonably expected

please contact us promptly with full details.

Where the law applies, we may offer one or more of the following remedies:

  • correction of the issue
  • repeat performance or re-delivery of the relevant part of the service
  • replacement access or equivalent remedy
  • an appropriate price reduction
  • a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances

10. Refunds for Mis-selling or Material Misdescription

If we have materially misrepresented a course, service, or digital offering, or if there has been a serious mismatch between what was promised and what was supplied, you may request cancellation and an appropriate refund or other remedy.

We may ask for supporting details so we can review the issue fairly and promptly.

11. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To request a cancellation, refund, or review, email support@theballbusiness.com with:

  • your full name
  • the email address used for purchase
  • proof of purchase or order number
  • the product or service purchased
  • the reason for your request
  • the date of purchase
  • any relevant screenshots or supporting information

A clear email stating that you want to cancel is sufficient. We may acknowledge receipt and request any information reasonably needed to process your request.

12. How Refunds Are Paid

Where a refund is approved, we will usually make the refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless we agree otherwise.

Refunds will usually be processed within 14 days of:

  • receiving your valid cancellation request, where a full refund is due, or
  • agreeing that you are entitled to a refund, price reduction, or other monetary remedy

We do not charge a refund processing fee for statutory refunds.

However, where currency conversion, intermediary bank charges, card issuer charges, or other third-party financial institution charges apply outside our control, the amount ultimately received by you may differ from the amount sent by us.

13. Non-Refundable Situations

Unless required by law, refunds will generally not be available where:

  • the 14-day cancellation period has expired
  • digital content has been accessed after you expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged loss of the cancellation right
  • a booked live event, session, or consultation has already been attended or substantially delivered
  • a refund request is based only on a change of preference after substantial use or access
  • the purchase was made through a third-party platform that controls the refund process

14. Abuse, Fraud, and Chargebacks

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or investigate refund requests where we reasonably believe there has been abuse of this policy, misuse of content, unauthorised sharing, fraud, or repeated bad-faith refund activity.

This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under law.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of purchase will generally apply to that purchase, unless the law requires otherwise.
